Product Platform Business Manager - Vice President
Job Description
The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for accelerating the firm’s data and analytics journey. This includes ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of the company's data, as well as leveraging this data to generate insights and drive decision-making. The CDAO is also responsible for developing and implementing solutions that support the firm’s commercial goals by harnessing artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to develop new products, improve productivity, and enhance risk management effectively and responsibly
As a Product Platform Business Manager - Vice President within the Chief Data & Analytics Office Chief of Staff team, you will collaborate closely with the leadership team responsible for the Fusion platform for external clients as well as the Graph service that we leverage for our internal Fusion platform. Your role will involve developing and communicating strategy, process improvement, financial analysis and business governance.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities in partnership with Chief of Staff.
- Develop, implement, and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and tools.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and steer efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure effective risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes.
- Prepare and present regular status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Define and monitor objectives key results and key metrics and progress report to senior management
Develop and implement initiatives in support of the wider CDAO people strategy to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 7+ years of financial services experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
- Good judgment, maturity, and poise to enable interaction/influencing of senior management
- Thoughtful analytical skills; able to develop, clearly present and draw conclusions
- Strong project management skills
- Self-starter able to prioritize key tasks effectively
- Energetic, self-motivated, and effective under pressure - must enjoy the challenge of working within a fast-paced and demanding working environment
- Strong leadership skills, fostering a culture of continual feedback.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Demonstrated credibility in supporting the management of a business or business function
- Ability to forge strong internal relationships across abroad range of functions
- Excellent quantitative and analytical problem solving skills
