Part-Time Licensed Therapist

The mission of the Mental Health Association is to promote mental health, with the integration of physical healthcare, to improve the care and treatment of individuals with mental illness, and to remove the stigma associated with mental health disorders and addictions.

MHA is seeking a Part Time Clinician to join our Center for Behavioral Health Program operating out of Essex County!

Hours: 10-15 per week. Employment is onsite at the Montclair program site.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling.
• NJ Clinical Licensure Required (LAC or LSW).
• Must have experience in providing psychotherapy.

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychotherapy to individuals (18+) with varying degrees of mental health diagnoses.
• Draft and maintain treatment plans.
• Record keeping as required by funding sources through the electronic clinical record software, and/or accreditation agencies.
• Must meet all expected productivity levels, in regard to direct service provision to consumers.
• Required to meet for clinical supervision as indicated by license level.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.

Base Hourly Rate: $45

Reports to: Program Director, Center for Behavioral Health and Riskin Children's Center
