Customer Service Administrator
As a Customer Service Administrator, you’ll play a critical role in coordinating across departments to ensure the efficient management of our customer orders. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to effectively communicate will contribute to our overall success. - Salary range $52,000-$60,000 depending on experience
Primary Responsibilities
- Order Processing: Expedite customer Purchase Orders in line with company policies.
- Quotations: Liaise with customers on incoming enquiries to ensure accurate and timely quotations.
- Order Management: Support cross functional monitoring of open orders and provide relevant internal and external communications.
- Trade Compliance: An understanding of export control and regulatory requirements.
- Communications: Handle general enquiries and queries to provide relevant customer communications.
- Key Accounts: Coordinate with Sales Team to support ongoing customer development and growth activities
- Forecast Support: Provide support to the Sales Team on monthly forecasting activities, including forecasted Purchase Order follow-up, requesting Customer Forecasts, and monitoring of Forecast consumption.
- High School degree required. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or proven experience in a similar role is desired.
- Experience working in a customer facing Customer Service Administration department
- Excellent interpersonal skills in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience using computer software such as MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system is desired
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system is desired
- Experience in the metals and manufacturing industries is desired
- Self-motivated individual with ability to use own initiative, prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional approach to work and when dealing with internal and external customers.
- Team player who demonstrates a high level of commitment, adopts a flexible and positive approach.
- Must have the ability to work unsupervised with good time management skills in order to meet tight deadlines, in a fast paced, pressurized and challenging environment.

- Proven experience processing orders in a sales administration or customer service role
- Ability to review and interpret complex Purchase Orders
- Good understanding of SAP or other similar ERP system
- Experience in Microsoft 365 and MS Teams beneficial
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments
- Strong communication skills, particularly written
- Commitment to personal growth and continuous improvement
- Meticulous attention to detail in document creation and review
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions and percentages
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete issues to bring effective resolution as required
