Job Title: Event Director

Location: Toms River, NJ

Salary: $95-$105K plus bonus

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Event Director to lead the planning and flawless execution of 36 luxury events per week. This individual will be the strategic and operational force behind elevated, detail-driven experiencesfrom intimate dinners to grand-scale affairs. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, maintains grace in front of VIPs, and has deep experience in high-touch, full-service hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of multiple weekly events with a focus on precision, elegance, and personalized service.
• Collaborate closely with culinary, service, and production teams to ensure each event reflects the highest level of detail and execution.
• Serve as the primary client liaisoninterpreting vision, managing expectations, and delivering a white-glove experience at every step.
• Build and manage detailed event timelines, staffing plans, and production schedules.
• Supervise on-site event operations including vendor coordination, room/station setup, staff performance, and guest experience.
• Maintain strong oversight of budgets, contracts, and invoices to ensure accuracy and profitability.
• Ensure all events are executed in alignment with brand standards and client specificationsincluding kosher-style requirements where applicable.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with clients and industry partners, becoming a trusted advisor for all event needs.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in luxury event planning or operations, preferably with a background in catering or high-end hospitality.
• Proven ability to manage and execute multiple events simultaneously at a high level.
• Experience with kosher events or a deep understanding of dietary nuance and cultural considerations is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Confident presence with VIP clients and high-profile guests; impeccable presentation and professionalism.
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends based on event scheduling.
• Calm, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to lead under pressure with poise.
