The Surgical Services RN Director will oversee a comprehensive perioperative platform spanning the operating room, PACU, same-day surgery, sterile processing, endoscopy, and a pre-op optimization clinic, with a case mix that includes high-volume orthopedics, general surgery, women’s health, urology, and robotic procedures supported by DaVinci, two Mako orthopedic systems, and Globus technology. The Nurse Director Surgical Services will report to senior nursing leadership with strong administrative backing and close partnership with perioperative physician leaders, while leading staff during a pivotal expansion of OR hours and throughput. This Nurse Director Surgical Services will standardize preference cards, optimize block utilization, reduce traveler reliance, right-size staffing, improve turnover times, enhance scheduling access, and lower call burden by building a high-engagement, metrics-driven culture across a friendly, diverse, and collaborative interdisciplinary team.

The Surgical Services RN Director ideally brings over five years of strong surgical services experience with progressive leadership, comfort operating in KPI-rich environments, and the hands-on presence to rebuild morale and credibility with surgeons and frontline staff.
