Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Foreman to lead and oversee safety and quality assurance initiatives on our construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting inspections, and driving quality performance across projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, implementing corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and education to workers.
• Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures.
• Ensure that products and services meet quality standards.
• Monitor and track quality performance.
• Identify and address potential quality issues before they become problems.

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards.
• Experience in quality assurance and quality control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
• Experience with drawings and wire sizing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Certified in CPR and First Aid.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Supervisory skills.
• Subcontractor management experience.
• Safety training expertise.

Work Environment

You will work on a 1st shift at a 50-person job site, requiring proper site gear. The environment will involve collaboration and adherence to safety protocols to ensure a secure and productive workplace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out Maryland and the company offers per diem.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
