Annual Salary: $35/hr – $55/hr (varies depending on years of experience)

A progressive healthcare facility is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate MRI Technologist to join its imaging team. This role involves operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct MRI exams with attention to detail, ensuring proper patient positioning, identification, and comfort.

Review and follow safety screening protocols for all patients prior to scanning.

Operate MRI systems and related equipment, ensuring images are properly captured, stored, and accessible in PACS/RIS.

Provide clear communication and reassurance to patients and their families during procedures.

Keep imaging areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety and infection-control standards.

Stay current on new techniques, protocols, and best practices within MRI technology.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology.

Active ARRT (MR) certification required.

Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

At least 2 years of MRI experience preferred; must demonstrate proficiency in all core imaging procedures.
