Remote Medical Scheduler

New Jersey IEC is looking for a Remote Medical Scheduler to join our team in Somerset. This part-time position offers the flexibility of remote work and presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the healthcare sector within the construction industry.
As a Remote Medical Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in coordinating medical appointments and ensuring efficient communication between patients and healthcare providers. Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm medical appointments for employees
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and appointments
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
- Coordinate pre-employment medical evaluations and follow-up appointments
- Assist in managing medical documentation and compliance
- Respond to inquiries related to scheduling and medical services
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
- Support the team in various administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical scheduling or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are preferred
