Personal Injury Associate Attorney

Pay: $125,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Fort Lee, NJ office.

Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have an active NJ Bar license and at least 2 years of personal injury law experience.

Job Description

• Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury files from intake through trial or settlement
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement documents
• Conduct and defend depositions, attend mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
• Maintain organized, cloud-based case files and ensure deadlines are met
• Communicate effectively with clients, medical providers, experts, adjusters, and opposing counsel
• Utilize legal research tools and case management software to support litigation
• Collaborate with colleagues but also work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications

• Active NJ Bar license required
• Minimum 2 years of personal injury law experience
• Courtroom and deposition experience required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage 75100 active cases efficiently
• Experience with case management software (Needles/Neos preferred) and MS Office 365
