Love working with children? Have a passion for early childhood education? Little Oaks Learning Academy is seeking a loving and attentive Infant Teacher/Young Toddler Teacher to join our team. Our infant program provides a safe, nurturing environment where the youngest learners can explore, grow, and reach important developmental milestones — all while feeling secure and supported.
Responsibilities>
- Provide a warm, responsive, and engaging classroom experience that supports each child’s individual needs.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families through daily communication and care updates.
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment where infants can develop curiosity, confidence, and early learning skills.
- Maintain detailed documentation of children’s progress through observations and developmental screenings.
- Attend to children's emotional and physical needs.
Qualifications
- Background in early childhood education, child development and/or experience working with children.
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership abilities
- CDA, or ECE degree preferred or be working towards such.
- Ability to lift children (up to 40–50 lbs), sit on the floor, stand for long periods of time,(both inside and outside) and the ability to move quickly.
