Front Counter / Pizza Serve r
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, efficient, and customer-focused Front Counter Pizza Server to support daily front-of-house operations. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced pizza restaurant environment while helping manage workflow at the counter, salad bar, and oven stations.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional customer service
- Take accurate in-person and phone orders and operate the cash register/POS
- Answer customer questions, explain menu items, ingredients, pricing, and portions
- Help customers compare menu options and make ordering decisions
- Serve food and beverages and package takeout orders accurately
- Prepare and assemble quick-service items such as salads, drinks, slices....
- Stock and maintain the salad bar, counter, and stations
- Assist with placing and removing pizzas, slices, and other items from the oven as needed
- Coordinate orders with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy and timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining areas, salad bar, and workstations
Schedule & Availability
- Availability for scheduled shifts required
- Flexibility to work extended or adjusted hours during holidays, peak times, or busy seasons
- Willingness to stay later when needed to support operations and cleanup
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or food service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist wherever needed
