3RD SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN DUTIES:

You'll keep our production operations running uninterrupted by thoroughly inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal functioning. You'll get hands-on with the equipment, solving mechanical and electrical problems to support daily productivity. This role involves:

• Working Sunday through Thursday from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM with occasional overtime or Saturday work to meet operational needs
• Properly inspecting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment
• Following preventative maintenance schedules, repairing faulty equipment, and replacing broken parts
• Quickly and safely responding to equipment breakdowns
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical malfunctions
• Removing old equipment, installing new parts, and setting up new systems
• Accurately documenting your maintenance activities, spare parts, and repairs
• Training staff on proper equipment operation and offering technical support as needed
• Complying with all safety, quality, and performance standards

REQUIREMENTS:

• Documented experience as a mechanical or electrical maintenance technician
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Solid understanding of equipment safety procedures and best practices
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Willingness to learn more and keep growing
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Ideally, we'd prefer that our 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician have some experience working with printing or packaging machinery.
