Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain electrophysiology equipment, ensuring it functions correctly during procedures.
  • Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies and catheter ablation procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and respond to any changes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document findings during procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust equipment as necessary to ensure successful procedures.
  • Follow hospital protocols and standards to maintain patient safety and comfort.
  • Adapt quickly to different healthcare environments and work effectively in diverse team settings during travel assignments.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrophysiology or a related field.
  • Certification in Electrophysiology (RCES or equivalent) required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrophysiology procedures.
  • Proficiency in electrophysiology equipment and procedures, including catheter placement and mapping.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to accept travel assignments to various healthcare facilities.
