Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service restaurant in Parsippany, NJ. This role requires a polished, corporate-trained hospitality leader who excels in structured environments, drives financial performance, and builds high-performing teams. The ideal candidate understands brand standards, thrives within corporate systems, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring strict adherence to corporate brand standards
Drive service excellence and maintain a strong, visible presence on the floor
Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and safety standards
Execute corporate initiatives, promotions, and operational rollouts effectively
Financial Management
Own full P&L responsibility including labor management, cost controls, and revenue growth
Analyze financial reports and implement action plans to improve profitability
Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to meet cost targets
Achieve and exceed sales and performance benchmarks
Team Development
Recruit, hire, and develop managers and hourly team members
Build a strong leadership bench through training and succession planning
Conduct performance evaluations and provide structured coaching
Create schedules aligned with business levels and labor budgets
Guest Experience
Champion a culture of hospitality and accountability
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
Maintain high standards for food quality, service execution, and overall cleanliness
Qualifications:
3–5+ years of General Manager experience in a corporate, full-service restaurant environment
Proven success managing high-volume operations
Strong understanding of P&L management, labor forecasting, and cost controls
Experience working within structured corporate systems and SOPs
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
