Software engineer

Stonegate Technologies LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to champion and drive the implementation of best practices for automated testing, ensuring QA adhere to high-quality standards. Improve overall test accuracy and efficiency by participating in code reviews, ensure coding standards and best practices. Develop and maintain automated testing documentation, including test scenarios, test plans, and requirements, improving project transparency and collaboration with stakeholders. Streamline automation process for coarse API testing, increasing test coverage from 50% to 78% and compatibility with a variety of mobile and web applications. Effectively monitor results of automated tests and maintained databases of results for further analysis. Improve overall API performance, implement code review processes, prioritize scalability, and security by performing comprehensive performance and security testing, in every stage of development in identifying and resolving critical issues besides release of the software product. Domestic travel required approximately 5% of time to various unanticipated client sites. Travel and relocation required to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in the related occupations of Senior Software Engineer - SAS Programmer, or equivalent using tools such as Pytest, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber and Cypress, as well as technical tools such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Ruby and C#. Experience to include 3 years with version control knowledge of Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab; 3 years with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner; 3 years of experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks. 3 years of experience with Cloud Technologies such as AWS or Azure; 3 years of experience with SQL and database testing. In lieu of a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems, employer will accept an additional 2 years of experience in the skills listed above.
