Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking for a Full-Time Central Sterile Coordinator for our New Brunswick campus.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent,
• CRCST Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician thru IAHCSMM or CBSPD required,
• CIS Certified Instrument Specialist required,
• At least 3 years work related experience in a Sterile processing department,

Preferred:

• CHL Preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• CRCST Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician thru IAHCSMM or CBSPD required,
• CIS Certified Instrument Specialist required,

Scheduling Requirements:

• Days to work
• Full-Time Schedule
• 40 hours a week

Essential Functions:

• Coordinates and orders all supply needs of the department,
• Responsible for all instrument repairs and coordinating with the manufacturer on the returns and loaners if needed,
• Works closely with the Peri-op leadership team and CSP leadership to identify future instrument needs, additional instruments and consistent par levels of back-ups to maintain daily operations
