About the Role
We are seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to join our growing land development team in Central New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience working on a wide range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and preparation of land development plans, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and roadway layouts
- Support site feasibility studies, due diligence, and zoning/code research
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and permit application documents
- Coordinate with senior engineers, planners, surveyors, and project managers
- Respond to municipal review comments and assist with plan revisions
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate with internal teams and clients
- Learn and apply local and state land use regulations (NJDEP, municipal codes, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (ABET-accredited preferred)
- EIT certification or intent to obtain preferred (not required)
- Strong interest in land development and site design
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D (internship or academic experience acceptable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment
