We are currently looking for Material Handler/Forklift Operators in Somerset, NJ. A well-established sheet metal fabricator is looking for experienced, dedicated, and hard working individuals who want to continue their career while earning a great paycheck.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 6:00am - 2:30pm

Pay:

• $18-20 (Based on experience)

Material Handler/Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

• Load/unload material from trucks independently.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed indoor/outdoor in tight spaces
• Load and unload materials between departments within the facility and production workstations with forklift and/or pallet jack
• Reports to Department Manager.
• May perform other related duties or work at a different workstation as production needs require.

Material Handler/Forklift Operator Qualifications:

• Valid forklift certificate a MUST
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing production environment
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklift
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to meet productivity standards, completing work in a timely manner
• Ability to thrive in an evolving, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Dependable
• Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds and more.
• Energetic and eager to learn
