Johnson & Johnson is seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Manager, Translational Informatics Technology Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of next-generation knowledge platforms that power discovery and research in Oncology, Immunology, and Neuroscience . This role can be based in Cambridge, MA; Spring House, PA; Titusville or Raritan, NJ.

Key responsibilities
The Translational Informatics Technology Product Manager (TPM)combines Information Technology expertise with scientific and Informatics experience and knowledge to lead technology enabled change strategy, accelerating the discovery and development of new novel therapeutics. Partnering with translational science teams in Oncology, Immunology and Neuroscience, this leadership position will synthesize technology product vision, roadmap, and technology strategy encompassing an overarching knowledge management framework for research, gen AI and agentic AI use cases, and data driven analytical capabilities. The TPM will own the technology product capability, and lead a high performing team.
- Define and drive the technology product vision and roadmap for translational informatics platforms.
- Partner with scientists, data scientists, and research leaders to enable insights into disease biology and phenotype.
- Lead the development of capabilities in knowledge management , Gen AI , agentic AI , and advanced analytics .
- Own the full product lifecycle—from ideation to delivery—while managing a high-performing, cross-functional team.
- Collaborate across J&J Technology teams to ensure integration, scalability, and quality of IT solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, lead RFI/RFP processes, and pilot new tools to support scientific innovation.
- Manage project scope, requirements, and portfolio to align with strategic business goals.
Professional experience/qualifications
- Expertise in translational science, research informatics (with experience in Oncology or Immunology preferred)
- A creative and innovative thinker who is equally passionate about understanding business processes / challenges, as well as technology solutions
- Demonstrated strong technology product management skills
- Demonstrated growing understanding of current technology landscape, as it applies to pharmaceutical research
- A team player who has demonstrated working in a virtual, global team environment
- A self-starter with ability to thrive in a rapidly changing technology and business environment
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Sciences, or Data Science (Master’s Degree preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technology, data science, or informatics role supporting or working in translational sciences, data science either within or close collaboration with therapeutic areas
- Experience with pharmaceutical software development lifecycle
- An understanding of drug research business process foundations, and a demonstrated capability to apply technology solutions in addressing business issues is required.
- Demonstrated accountability for IT project roles: project requirements, specifications, portfolio management, project or service delivery – with strong project management experience
- Demonstrated capability for business analysis, user requirements development, managing RFP activities and vendor management.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- The ability to work in global teams with multidisciplinary backgrounds is required.
- 10% travel (domestic & international) is required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$120,000-$207,000Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
