Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, students, visitors, and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, provide directions, and support a professional environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports and share relevant information with site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
