Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to play a critical, hands-on role in executing and stabilizing our month-end close and balance sheet integrity during a period of operational change, including facility consolidation and systems maturation.

This role is the engine of the close. This is a highly visible role with supervisory responsibilities of a team and close interaction across Accounting, Operations, and Finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the month‑end and year‑end close processes, including schedules and supporting documentation
• Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations, including cash, AR, AP, prepaid, and accrual accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Analyze account variances and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Maintain proper documentation for transactions and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting and financial inquiries
• Assist with ad hoc projects, process improvements, and other accounting duties as assigned
• Supervise and hold team accountable for accuracy of work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong hands-on experience with month-end close and balance sheet ownership.
