Business Intelligence Data Analyst / Retail Insights
Warren, NJ (Hybrid/Onsite)
Contract Opportunity
Pay Range: $40 - $45 hourly

Alphanumeric is hiring a Retail Insights / Business Intelligence Data Analyst to support a leading global consumer health manufacturer in Warren, NJ.
If you enjoy transforming retail sales data into meaningful business insights and have experience with NielsenIQ, Circana, Power BI, or Tableau , this is an excellent opportunity to make an impact with a globally recognized consumer health organization.
What You'll Do- Lead the transition of retail sales reporting from Circana to NielsenIQ Discover
- Analyze existing Circana reports and recreate them within NielsenIQ Discover
- Develop, automate, and maintain interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Power BI or Tableau
- Query, extract, and analyze large datasets from multiple syndicated data sources
- Create and maintain Excel-based reporting and analytical models
- Partner with Marketing, Shopper Insights, and cross-functional business teams to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations
- Track key business metrics and perform analyses that drive strategic decision-making
- Experience with NielsenIQ Discover (strongly preferred)
- Experience with Circana (IRI) retail sales data (highly preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience querying and manipulating large datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to business stakeholders
