MRI Technologist -NJAPS #4
Location: Statewide NJ Coverage
Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Mon–Fri (No Weekends/Holidays)
Total Hours: 40 per week
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated MRI Technologist to provide advanced diagnostic imaging. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll be responsible for capturing high-resolution MRI images and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Must be experienced in Cardiac and Breast MRI.
Essential Responsibilities:
Accurately perform and process MRI exams in a timely manner.
Interpret and carry out physician orders for MRI scans.
Maintain proper documentation and equipment records.
Engage with radiologists to adjust and refine imaging techniques.
Prepare and safely administer contrast agents.
Maintain clean, safe workspaces and follow infection control procedures.
Deliver high levels of customer service to patients and team members.
Track inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
Troubleshoot imaging equipment and escalate technical issues.
Support onboarding and staff coverage during absences.
Follow all emergency imaging protocols and proper charge coding procedures.
Job Requirements:
Completion of Radiologic Technology program and high school diploma.
Active NJ MRI License and ARRT (MRI) certification.
Minimum 1 year experience in MRI (Cardiac and Breast MRI required).
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Float Requirements: Yes, as needed across similar units.
Note: Weekdays only, no holiday/on-call work.
