Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform routine testing to support manufacturing operations, including in-process and finished product release testing. You'll also assist with the insourcing of analytical methods and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the QC laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare and analyze samples and standards using basic laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Record and maintain accurate test data in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems (e.g., LIMS), following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Assist in out-of-specification (OOS) and non-conformance investigations by performing re-testing and documenting results as directed.
• Participate in laboratory support activities, including equipment calibration, solution preparation, and inventory management.
• Help support insourcing efforts by assisting with the transfer of testing from external labs to internal QC labs, including method execution, equipment use, and documentation.
• Follow lab safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for efficiency or error reduction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field from an accredited university.
• 1+ year of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred (internships or academic lab work considered).
• Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques and basic lab instrumentation (e.g., pH meter, balances, UV-Vis, titrations).
• Basic understanding of compendial methods (e.g., USP, EP, ACS) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate data recording and documentation.
• Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions consistently.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Familiarity with Lean concepts or continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.
