Job Title: Activities Coordinator
Location: Manahawkin, New Jersey
Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite. This position requires a lot of traveling to multiple properties. Will be able to use company vehicle and will receive a company credit card to use for gas and purchasing event supplies.
Hours: Monday-Friday 11:00 AM-7:00 PM or 12:00 PM-8:00 PM Activities Coordinator Job Duties:
- Develop, facilitate and document events at our affordable properties in compliance with state regulations.
- Lead group events to ensure the function of the event will run smoothly. Such events may include; educational, financial literacy, birthday parties, socials, informative talks, tutoring sessions, athletic games, and other events as assigned.
- Assist residents by identifying the resources they may need, such as housing & utility assistance, food programs, healthcare access, job training, or financial aid and guiding them through the application process.
- Work with the Social Service Coordinator to ensure all the required staff and materials are available for all activities, a room or space is reserved for the event and any promotional materials are developed and distributed in advance of the programs.

- Set up rooms for activities and events, overseeing the residents to ensure the residents are safe and following the rules and instructions. Any issues that may arise in the events will be reports to the Social Service Coordinator immediately.
- Attend events at properties as scheduled.
- Work with Social Services Coordinator to ensure that all materials needed for event are purchased and ready in a timely manner.
- Must have a high school diploma, experience working with the public is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and method of own transportation.
- Must be willing to travel, residences are located in Southern and Central, NJ.
- Willingness to work some evenings is a must, possibly up to 3 evening a week.
- Coordinator must be flexible, empathetic, creative organized and patient.
