Senior Software Engineer
EWA, a Sigma Defense company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The Senior Software Engineer is pivotal in designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software systems that support advanced radar and threat simulator systems for the Department of Defense (DoD) and other U.S. Government agencies.
This role requires a dedicated professional with significant experience in embedded and real-time systems, particularly in DoD sensor equipment. An active DoD Secret security clearance is mandatory for this full-time, on-site position. Expertise will help drive our mission to deliver superior radar systems and products through all phases of development, from requirements generation to integration and testing.

- 10 - 15 years of experience in software development - specifically C/C++.
- Linux and Windows experience.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess an active, DoD issued Secret security clearance or higher.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems for advanced radar and threat simulator systems.
- Ensure the software meets the high standards required for DoD and other U.S. Government agencies.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Effectively balance multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities to meet project goals and timelines.
- Integrate hardware and software components, ensuring seamless operation of the overall system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve system integration goals.
- Maintain existing software systems by identifying areas for improvement, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
- Provide support on various projects, working closely with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and knowledge sharing.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software systems, ensuring compliance with DoD standards and regulations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Pursue continuous learning opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge and apply new insights to improve software systems.

Salary Range : $140,000 - $160,000 annually.
