Role Overview

As an Azure Architect / Product Owner, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Azure-based solutions while also guiding product strategy and development. This dual role requires a deep understanding of cloud architectures, AI-driven services, and product ownership, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable, AI-enabled product features.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Architect Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and AI-enabled solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Integrate Azure AI and ML services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Machine Learning) into enterprise solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services, AI/ML technologies, and architecture patterns to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with development and data science teams to ensure alignment on cloud and AI best practices.
• Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization of Azure and AI workloads.
• Stay updated on Azure developments, AI advancements, and industry trends to inform architecture decisions.

Product Owner Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the product backlog with a focus on AI-driven features that create business value.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, AI/ML, data, marketing, sales) to deliver product features.
• Gather requirements and translate them into AI-enabled user stories and functional specifications.
• Ensure alignment between product vision, AI strategy, and technical implementation.
• Facilitate sprint planning and review sessions, incorporating AI adoption metrics to enhance productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Azure Architect, with strong understanding of Azure AI/ML services and cloud architecture.
• Experience in product management or as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Machine Learning).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Azure AI services (Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, Synapse, Bot Framework).
• Experience with data management, analytics, and AI/ML pipelines in Azure.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and AI model lifecycle management (MLOps).
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of AI ethics, governance, and compliance in enterprise environments.
