Production Technician
The Production Technician is responsible for the inspection, labeling, and packaging of finished drug products. The role involves performing these tasks manually or by operating equipment that executes these functions. This position requires regular onsite attendance and punctuality.
Responsibilities- Perform visual inspection of drug products in accordance with SOPs and cGMPs.
- Execute manual labeling and packaging functions as needed.
- Set up, maintain, and operate various computerized and manual inspection/labeling/packaging equipment.
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly cleaning of production areas following internal SOPs.
- Maintain the quality of machine output and product integrity.
- Keep a clean and organized production environment.
- Complete and maintain applicable logbook and batch record paperwork following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
- Escalate both machine and manual deviations to the area supervisor or designee.
- Provide peer training on all production-related procedures as required.
- Identify, segregate, and report defective product to management, ensuring accountability of the final product.
- Perform other related duties as determined by management personnel.
- Minimum two (2) years of cGMP manufacturing experience.
- Production packaging and labeling expertise.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience working in a 503b Facility.
- Some college and/or college degree preferred.

Work EnvironmentThis is a fully on-site position located in North Brunswick, New Jersey. The role operates on the first shift, working 8 hours between 6am and 4pm. The noise level of the job environment is moderate, and hearing protection is provided and may be required at times. The job involves frequent bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting, with physical demands including standing for the duration of the shift and lifting weights between 5 – 40 pounds.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
