Nurse Practitioner
Part-Time Nurse Practitioner
Location: Plainfield, NJ
Position: Part-Time (2–3 days/week)
Pay: $80–$90/hour
Job Summary
We’re looking for a Nurse Practitioner who wants a part-time role with a predictable weekday schedule in Plainfield, NJ. You’ll handle patient visits from start to finish—assessment, diagnosis, ordering labs, prescribing when appropriate, and follow-ups. The focus is quality care that’s organized and efficient, with clear documentation and smooth coordination when patients need referrals or ongoing management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations, including histories and physical assessments
- Diagnose and treat a range of conditions within NP scope
- Order, review, and interpret labs and diagnostic testing
- Prescribe and manage medications, refills, and follow-up plans
- Educate patients on treatment steps, prevention, and home care
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely chart completion
Requirements
- Current NP license in New Jersey (APN)
- Board certification (ANCC or AANP)
- MSN or DNP required
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain quickly)
- BLS certification required
- Prior outpatient/clinical NP experience preferred
- Comfortable managing a patient panel and staying on top of charting
