About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to support application development and technology upgrade projects within a critical IT division. This area provides foundational services including customer registration, authentication systems, user portals, automated workflows, and CRM services. The role also supports a diverse portfolio of COTS/SaaS solutions tied to HR, Finance, Project Management, GRC, and customer support systems.

The position requires hands-on Salesforce project management , expertise in Agile methodologies , and proven leadership across cross-functional teams and vendors in multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Define scope, budget, and timeline with product owners and architects

• Track budgets, report variances, and manage resource utilization

• Maintain project initiatives using tools like Jira or HP PPM

• Provide timely updates to stakeholders and governance bodies

• Coordinate execution with cross-functional teams and vendors

• Monitor project deliverables, risks, and dependencies

Scrum Master

• Guide teams in Agile best practices and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)

• Facilitate ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, demos, retrospectives

• Track team velocity and burndown using Agile tools

• Manage backlog with Product Owner and ensure continuous delivery

• Support release planning, code movement, and cross-team alignment

• Escalate blockers and ensure team improvement tracking

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of SDLC Project Management experience

• Active PMP , CSM , or similar PM/Scrum certification (preferred)

• Experience leading Agile projects and Scrum teams

• Strong track record managing large, cross-functional, geographically distributed teams

• Experience with Salesforce application projects

• Background in the financial services industry

• Familiarity with third-party vendor management

• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, HP PPM)

Work Schedule & Process

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite per week in Tampa, FL or Jersey City, NJ

• Interview Process: 2 rounds via Zoom

• Candidates must be eligible for full-time conversion after 6 months
