APP FELLOW - CRITICAL CARE
- APP fellow will provide medical services consistent with the fellow’s education, training and experience level and will be performed under the supervision of a preceptor and collaborating physician.
- APP fellow will complete a quality, performance or process improvement project and/or research project suitable for publication or presentation.
- APP fellow will attend all assigned educational events and seminars that have been incorporated into this program.
- APP fellow will rotate to multiple roles within critical care including medical critical care, neurological critical care and trauma surgical critical care.
- APP fellow will participate in structured evaluations regarding progress such as but not limited to case study presentations, preceptor and program director performance evaluations, and demonstration.
*For Nurse practitioners, must be acute care certified; PA NCCPA
AHA BLS & ACLS certifications
Eligibility for DEA and CDS certificates. Special Requirements Applicant requirements:
- Graduate of master's or doctorate degree program
- Licensed and certified in the state of NJ as an acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- 2 letters of recommendation from (1) academic from a faculty member (2) professional/clinical from a preceptor or clinical supervisor
- unofficial transcript from graduate APP program
