Professional Garment Presser
Job Title: Professional Garment Presser / Quality Control Associate
Schedule:
- 7 days per week (including weekends)
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented professionals with a strong background in high-end garment pressing and quality control . This role involves pressing and inspecting high-value suits and jackets made primarily from natural fibers such as wool, cotton, and linen . Based on performance and quality of work, there is potential for continued placement within quality control operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professionally press suits and jackets using steam irons to achieve a high-quality finish
- Handle delicate, high-value garments with care and precision
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure garments meet established standards
- Identify and report defects or inconsistencies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all garment-handling and workplace safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in professional garment pressing (steam iron required)
- Experience working with natural fibers (wool, cotton, linen)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Quality control experience in apparel, tailoring, or garment manufacturing preferred
- Ability to work a consistent 7-day work schedule
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
