Manager of Business Dev. for Medical Devices
Manager of Business Development (Medical Device Industry)
Client seeking an experienced Manager of Business Development to spearhead our expansion within the medical device engineering service industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success in medical device markets or related healthcare sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic growth plans to expand our presence in the medical device industry.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through building and nurturing relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Maintain and grow a robust network of medical device contacts to facilitate partnerships and business opportunities.
- Lead the sales team in creating and executing strategies that consistently surpass revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure top-quality service delivery to clients within the medical device space.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to stay ahead of developments in the medical device field.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Oversee sales performance and provide detailed reports and actionable insights to senior management.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and enhance brand visibility
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in sales and business development, particularly within the medical device industry or healthcare-related engineering service sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Deep understanding of the medical device industry, market dynamics, and key players.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
- Leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and motivating a sales team.
- Expertise in strategic planning and execution.
Willingness to travel for client engagements and industry events as necessary
