Job title: Full Stack .Net AWS Cloud Developer
Location: Newark, NJ
The client is looking for a versatile and pragmatic Full Stack AWS Cloud Developer to architect, build, and maintain scalable cloud/on-prem hybrid applications. They must have a deep understanding of the front-end and back-end aspects of application development. On the front-end, they must be able to design and implement user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. On the back-end, they must be able to work with SQL and NoSQL databases, web services, and other server-side and serverless resources. They must be able to work across the stack—from intuitive front-end interfaces to robust back-end services—leveraging AWS platform to deliver secure, high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities are:
- Design and develop full-stack applications using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, Python, .NET, JavaScript)
- Build and deploy cloud-native services on AWS using Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and more
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions
- Participate in requirements discussions and transform them into useful applications in line with service goals.
- Support, maintain and enhance existing applications and fix issues.
- Collaborate with peers to create the most effective solution possible using the .Net framework and Microsoft tech stack.
- Take responsibility for identifying and reducing technical debt in existing code structure while boosting application effectiveness and improve performance.
- Deliver error-free code that complies with secure coding practices.
- Able to provide technical assistance for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Incorporate data storage systems and preserve code quality.
- Ensure application security and scalability, following AWS best practices and Well-Architected Framework
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, UX, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Monitor and optimize performance using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other observability tools
- Document architecture and workflows using Confluence, diagrams, and version-controlled README files
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, and DynamoDB
- Knowledge of authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth2, Cognito, JWT)
- Strong debugging, testing, and performance tuning skills
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks like Next.js , Vue , or Svelte
