Assistant Director of Nursing ADON

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing ( ADON) to assist the Director of Nursing in leading the clinical team in providing quality care to residents. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Ensure the upmost quality and patient-centered care of residents
• Coordinate infection control
• Plan organize and implement training programs/in-services for clinical staff.
• Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff
• Ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of residents . This may include recruitment.
• Oversee the process for competency evaluations and corrective action plans.

Requirements :

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of NJ.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience in clinical setting is preferred.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience in long term care/sub-acute setting is preferred
• Infection Control: 1 year (Preferred)
• Must be computer literate and experience with EMR preferred
• Completion of IP Course within 3-6 months of hire would be expected.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
