Human Resources Generalist
Our client, a prominent Human Resources consulting firm, is looking for a skilled Human Resources Generalist in Edison, New Jersey. In this position, you will be tasked with overseeing various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, and adherence to labor regulations. You will be instrumental in cultivating a positive workplace atmosphere by executing effective HR policies and initiatives.
The perfect candidate will possess a solid grasp of human resources practices and principles, along with outstanding communication and organizational abilities. You will collaborate closely with management to resolve employee issues and offer guidance on HR-related topics. A dedication to fostering employee engagement and development is crucial.
Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment processes including sourcing and interviewing candidates
- Administer employee onboarding and orientation programs
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Support employee relations issues and provide conflict resolution
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR roles
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
