Sr. Global Business Operations Coordinator - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Level: Intermediate (4–7 years) | Individual Contributor
Location: Madison, NJ (Giralda Farms)
Work Model: Hybrid (approx. 50% onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Travel: 5–10% (local sites)
Role Summary
The Sr. Global Business Operations Coordinator supports day-to-day business operations and manufacturing-facing systems across the External Manufacturing network within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment . This is an individual contributor role , not a people-management, project management, or IT development position.
The role focuses on operational execution , including master data coordination, systems support, reporting, and process documentation that directly enable compliant manufacturing, packaging, and supply execution across Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
This position is not intended for IT developers, data engineers, finance analysts, or program managers . It is best suited for professionals with hands-on experience supporting operations or systems within pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing who understand how data, systems, and workflows are used on the manufacturing floor and across external supply networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Systems and process support - Support the Manager, Process and Systems in execution of system related activities aligned to the External Supply Technology Roadmap.
- Manage master data collection workflow partnering with cross-functional SMEs (External Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain).
- Serve as a support point for systems related questions from end users, triaging issues and partnering with Manager, Process and Systems, GBO Lead, and Sr. Director of Process & Systems.
- Support documentation of processes, procedures, and training materials to ensure tools and systems are used as intended.
- Assist in tracking system enhancements, defect logs, and prioritized requests under the direction of the Manager, Process and Systems.
- Data, analytics, and reporting support: Support development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and exception monitoring to increase process visibility and control.
- Assist with data validation, data quality checks, and reconciliation activities across operational systems when needed.
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles using Power BI, Excel, and other analytical tools when needed.
- Maintain accuracy of operational data within QuickBase applications, reporting tools, and SharePoint repositories.
- VEXMO Training curriculum: weekly Leadership reporting and liaise with GPS Training to ensure role curriculum alignment.
- Ad hoc administrative support as needed; GIR Meeting Catering, logistics.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience supporting operations, systems, or reporting within a pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment .
- Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing-facing systems (not IT development or software engineering roles).
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP)supporting manufacturing, supply chain, quality, or external manufacturing operations.
- Experience supporting business tools and workflow platforms such as QuickBase, Smartsheet, or similar systems .
- Proficiency in Power BI and Excel for operational reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
OR - Associate degree / High School diploma with equivalent relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting External Manufacturing or CMO operations .
- Exposure to GxP-regulated manufacturing environments .
- Experience supporting master data workflows in manufacturing or supply operations.
- Familiarity with operational reporting used by manufacturing or supply organizations .
Important Role Clarifications
This role is not a fit for candidates whose background is primarily in:
- IT development, software engineering, or data engineering
- Banking, finance, retail, or e-commerce operations
- Project or program management without hands-on manufacturing systems or operations support
Candidates should have direct experience supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing operations .

Competitive hourly rate: $41.29 - 52.44/hr (W-2 only, no C2C)
