We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team at our upscale seafood restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of grilling techniques, especially for high-quality seafood, and will be committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience. This role requires precision, consistency, and a deep respect for ingredients.
Prepare and cook seafood and other proteins to order on the grill, ensuring proper temperature, presentation, and portion control.
Execute dishes according to the restaurant’s fine dining standards and chef’s specifications.
Monitor grill station inventory and inform Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine of any shortages or spoilage.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station in accordance with health and safety standards.
Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate timing and plating for seamless service.
Ensure all seafood is handled, stored, and prepared with care, respecting the freshness and delicacy of the product.
