What You\'ll Be Doing

The Security Officer ensures a safe, secure healing environment for patients, staff, and visitors; as well as ensuring the protection of property from harm as a result of acts of violations of laws, policy, procedures or regulatory requirements 24 hours a day.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reports all doors that are left open after hours or unattended offices
• Directs visitors, patients, vendors to correct locations; distributes passes
• Performs unit/building clock tours daily
• Conducts security rounds for safety violations
• Reports all hazardous conditions to the proper departments
• Monitors cameras / alarms at command posts
• Investigates all (police type) incident reports
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What We\'re Looking For

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have valid NJ Driver\'s License
• Ability to complete a Health Care Security and Safety Certification
• SORA license preferred
• With 1-2 years related experience, hospital setting preferred
