Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Heart, Mind, Body LLC is excited to announce an opening for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide essential mental health services to individuals, supporting them on their journey towards improved mental well-being. At Heart, Mind, Body LLC, we believe in a comprehensive approach to mental health care that considers the unique needs of each patient, integrating medical, psychological, and social aspects into treatment plans.

Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, prescribing medications, and delivering psychotherapy as needed. You will be part of a collaborative team that values innovation, compassion, and effective communication. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Offer individual and group therapy sessions.
• Work alongside other professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatments.
• Provide patient education on mental health issues and treatment options.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing with a specialization in psychiatric mental health.
• Current PMHNP certification from a recognized accrediting body.
• Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
• Experience in a clinical mental health setting preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of psychiatric disorders and treatment methods.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to engage in professional development and continuing education.
• Knowledge of documentation protocols and electronic health records.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).

It leaves the clinician free to tell us what hours they want to fill, full-time, part-time or per-diem. We provide the marketing, EMR, billing and send you your payments on the first and 16th day of the month. We also provide mentoring, if needed.
