Must have pleted Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role offers an opportunity to provide essential support to an elementary school setting as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The position is contract-based and spans the entire academic school year, allowing you to apply your expertise in behavior analysis to foster positive student outes.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential is required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in an educational setting
- Strong skills in behavior assessment, data analysis, and intervention planning
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
- Knowledge of best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis within schools
Location:
- Elementary school setting in Edison, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify student needs
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Train and support teachers and staff in behavior strategies and data collection
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote inclusive educational environments
- Track progress and make data-driven decisions to adjust interventions as necessary
