About the Role:
The Kitchen Prep position plays a crucial role in ensuring that our culinary operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the kitchen staff in delivering service. The major end result of this position is to contribute to a seamless kitchen workflow that enhances the dining experience for our clients and guests. By ensuring that all food items are prepped and ready for cooking, the Kitchen Prep will help maintain the high standards of our culinary offerings. Ultimately, this position is vital for the overall success of our food service operations within the real estate development and management context.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and chop vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients as per the chef's specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying the kitchen manager of low stock levels.
- Support the cooking staff during meal service by providing timely assistance and ensuring all necessary ingredients are readily available.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

The required skills for this position include strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately, which are essential for preparing ingredients correctly.
