RN/LPN Supervisor (11pm-7am)
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure all personnel perform according to job descriptions and facility guidelines.
- Provide direct nursing care as needed and oversee clinical responsibilities on the unit.
- Conduct rounds to assess resident conditions, monitor staff performance, and address any concerns.
- Oversee medication administration and treatment schedules to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with resident assessments and updates to care plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident needs and discharge planning.
- Participate in surveys and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies.
- Maintain appropriate staffing coverage and assist in managing call-outs.
- Document incidents, address staff concerns, and escalate issues to the DON/ADON as appropriate.
- Orient new residents and ensure a smooth transition upon admission.
- Accompany physicians during rounds and coordinate necessary nursing support.
- Support performance evaluations for LPNs, CNAs, and other staff as assigned.
- Valid RN or LPN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment.
