Location: Vineland Position Summary The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating and documenting all inbound and outbound product movements within the cold storage facility. This role ensures accurate receiving, inventory tracking, order processing, and shipment preparation while maintaining compliance with food safety, company policies, and cold chain requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced refrigerated warehouse environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receiving Operations
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, and packing slips.
- Inspect products for quantity, condition, and temperature compliance.
- Accurately enter receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Generate receiving documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate discrepancies, shortages, damages, or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Process customer orders and shipping requests.
- Prepare bills of lading, shipping labels, manifests, and other required paperwork.
- Coordinate shipment schedules with carriers, drivers, and warehouse personnel.
- Verify outbound orders for accuracy before shipment.
- Maintain shipment records and track order status.
- Perform inventory transactions within the WMS.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure product locations and inventory records remain accurate.
- Follow all food safety, GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and company policies.
- Maintain proper cold chain procedures during receiving and shipping activities.
- Ensure documentation meets customer and regulatory requirements.
- Report safety hazards, damaged products, and equipment issues immediately.
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving files.
- Answer emails and phone inquiries related to shipments and deliveries.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports as required.
- Support warehouse and customer service teams with logistics-related tasks.
