Electrical Engineer – MEP Consulting
North Jersey
A well-established MEP consulting engineering firm in North Jersey is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial, healthcare, institutional, life sciences, and mixed-use projects while advancing your technical and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for building projects.
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, and engineering calculations.
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams.
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and project coordination efforts.
- Support project managers through all phases of design and construction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 4+ years of MEP consulting experience.
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience designing building electrical systems.
- EIT or PE preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
