Compensation: $25.00 / hr.


Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote


Hours: 40 hours a week | 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage daily financial transactions and perform high-volume bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, resolve discrepancies, and support the accounting team with reporting and general bookkeeping duties.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
• Review and resolve account discrepancies and outstanding transactions
• Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
• Process deposits, payments, and journal entries
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
• Maintain organized and accurate financial files and records
• Communicate with banks and internal departments regarding account activity

Bookkeeper Qualifications:

• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required
• Strong experience with bank reconciliations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
• Understanding of general accounting principles
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
