Front Desk Staff
WHIPPANY ATHLETIC CLUB is a family-owned health club company aimed at providing an environment that encourages its members to achieve their fitness and health goals.
The responsibility of our front desk staff is to greet and check-in our members and guests. They also are responsible for updating members’ account information using our gym management computer system. Front desk staff members must be enthusiastic, responsible and punctual. High School diploma required.
Responsibilities of Front Desk Staff Member:- Greeting and checking in members as they come in.
- Resolving member issues in an effective manner.
- Membership sales and retention.
- Selling in-store merchandise such as cookies and bars, energy and protein drinks, bottled water, etc.
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment for all members and staff.
- Keeping the reception area and other areas supplied and organized.
- Additional tasks assigned by management, such as walk throughs of facility.
- Opening and closing the facility if scheduled.
