Summary
The Service Coordinator must perform several tasks in supporting the Service Department Operations of the Company. The Service Coordinator must have Organizational, Written and Verbal Communication Skills. The Service Coordinator will work with the President and Operations Manager to Receive Service Requests for Plumbing and HVAC Service Calls.
Essential Functions:
- Receive or Respond to Client and New Client Calls for Service.
- Manage and Maintain Dispatch Calendar for Service Calls, Warranty from Installation, and Maintenance Contract.
- Create Estimates and Proposals for Service Calls.
- Create and Maintain Customer Information & Warranty Information.
- Constant Communication of any changes with Service Technicians and Management.
- Pre-qualify Customers with Credit Card Authorization Procedure.
- Contact Vendors for Equipment Quotes.
- Ensure Materials are Ordered and Received Prior to Scheduling Jobs.
- Confirm all Work Orders are Filled Out Correctly to Company Standards and Policies.
- Monitor Job Progress and Customer Satisfaction.
- Receive After Hours Service Calls on Company Provided Cell Phone.
Required Education and Experience
- 2 years’ experience as a service dispatcher or similar position.
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills
