Technician
Job Title
1st shift Essential Responsibilities:
Inspect machined work pieces to ensure conformance to specification
Interpret and follow written inspection instructions, quality requirements and customer specifications
Measure dimensions such as length, height and distance between reference points, using precision instruments such as micrometer, caliper, dial indicator, optical comparator, etc.
Record inspection results on appropriate forms and documents
Ensure that all inspection activities are performed in accordance with established procedures and standards
Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding inspection results and any issues encountered
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes and quality outcomes
