Senior Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist

: Position Overview: As the Senior Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist at Lakeland Bank, you will act as the subject matter expert for the Commercial Loan Operations area. As the SME you will help to train other associates within the Commercial Loan Servicing area, make decisions regarding scheduling of work and prioritization based on the lifecycle of the loans, ensure compliance with all internal and external reporting. The Senior Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist will oversee the functions of the ABL/SWAP and the Proof and Control departments and act as liaison between Branches, Customers, and Loan Officers. Key Responsibilities:

• Remit funds to investors.
• Review new loans booked.
• Sell loans to investors.
• Monthly reporting to investors/managers/senior management.
• Review posted payments.
• Review processed payoffs.
• Review processed paid loans.
• Reviewing loan documentation for commercial loan closings to support commercial lenders
• Reviewing loans to the FISERV system following loan closings
• Review the ongoing maintenance of loans which includes processing renewals and modifications, tracking pending collateral items, processing advances, payments and payoffs, and tracking required insurance
• Assisting lenders, customers and call center personnel with questions, problems and research issues
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Skills Required:

• Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School diploma
  • 3 years of loan servicing experience or related experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to interact effectively with other businesses throughout the organization
  • Ability to work as a productive member of a team
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of basic math
  • Experience in reviewing commercial loan document closings and with loan system software
  • Experience utilizing the FISERV Loan processing
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable dealing with customers as well as loan officers
  • Must be bondable

Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. 40 hours weekly. Overtime as needed
